Getting to Madarao Kogen

Madarao Kogen is located about an hour from Nagano City and can be accessed in several ways, depending on where you're coming from. From Tokyo - Narita International Airport

  • Nagano Snow Shuttle services are direct to Madarao Kogen and leave in the morning and evening daily and are of great value. They make the transfer easy after your flight, so sit back and enjoy the scenery of Tokyo and then the mountains as you head to Madarao. 
  • Nagano VIP Shuttle a driver will meet you with a sign with your name on it at the arrivals section of Narita International Airport and will take you directly to your accommodation in Madarao Kogen. Shared or Private options available. 
  • Madarao Kogen can be accessed via the Japan Railway (JR) from Narita Airport, take the Narita Express to Tokyo Station, or Ueno Station and then change to the Hakutaka Shinkansen (Bullet Train) which leaves regularly throughout the day to Iiyama Station. When you arrive at Iiyama, make your way downstairs to the concourse and look for the Nagaden or No-Ta-Ma buses, or a private transfer can be arranged. For train timetables and fares visit Hyperdia

From Tokyo - Haneda Airport Terminals

  • Nagano VIP Shuttle a driver will meet you with a sign with your name on it at the arrivals section of Haneda Airport and will take you directly to your accommodation in Madarao Kogen. Shared or Private options available. 
  • From Haneda, you can catch the monorail to Hamamatsucho station, and then take a JR line train to Tokyo Station. From Tokyo station, take the Hakutaka Shinkansen (Bullet Train) which leaves regularly through the day to Iiyama Station. When you arrive at Iiyama, make your way downstairs to the concourse and look for the Nagaden or No-Ta-Ma buses, or a private transfer can be arranged. For train timetables and fares visit Hyperdia

From tokyo - city 

  • Take the Hokuriku Shinkansen (Bullet Train) from Tokyo or Ueno bound for Iiyama Station. Upon arrival at Iiyama train station take the escalator downstairs to the concourse and look for the Nagaden or No-Ta-Ma buses, or a private transfer can be arranged. For train timetables and fares visit Hyperdia

FROM Chubu Centrair international airport (nagoya)

  • From Chubu Centrair International Airport, take the Meitetsu line to Nagoya Station. From here you can change to the Wideview Shinano Express Train to Nagano Station, when arriving in Nagano, change to the Hakutaka Shinkansen bound for Iiyama Station, once you arrive at Iiyama take the escalator downstairs to the concourse and look for the Nagaden or No-Ta-Ma buses, or a private transfer can be arranged. FROM Osaka and kyoto

  •  From Osaka and Kyoto, take the limited express thunderbird to Kanazawa Station then change to the Hakutaka Shinkansen (Bullet Train) bound for Iiyama Station and get the Nagaden or No-Ta-Ma buses or a private transfer can be arranged. For train timetables and fares visit Hyperdia

FROM Other ski resorts 

  • Nagano VIP Shuttle Private Charters are only available from other ski resorts.  A driver will meet you in the lobby of your hotel and will then take you directly to your accommodation in Madarao Kogen
